So basically you would pay $1000 if something bad happens out of your pocket. 2. Don't get auto insurance coverage you don�t need. If your car has a low market value, you may not need collision for you automobile insurance. Check the blue book value. If your car current market value isn't worth much more than the deductible, then you really don't need it for your car insurance.

It's nice to see a tow truck come by when you are stranded on a rainy night on a busy highway. Happened to me. Or if your car won't start in your own driveway, the car insurance company will send someone to jump your car. However, you can also get roadside assistance when you buy your car, through AAA Triple A, and other plans. Car insurance is what I choose.
